A plain HTTP API.

Send a file — or a link — and get a verdict with the confidence behind it. Works for images and video. Audio is in preview: Tayanch shows what the model hears and a research score, but gives no audio verdict until a model passes its published release test.

100 free checks, 30 requests/min — no card required. The key is shown once and stored only as a hash; when the free quota runs out you'll get HTTP 402 — contact us to raise your quota. Want to see your keys and usage later, or revoke one? Create an account instead — same free key, plus a page to manage it.

We use your email to issue and meter the key. By creating a key you accept the Terms — see Privacy.

Built for trust, measured for real.

Every number below is dated, carries its sample size, and says what it was measured on.

94.5%
of AI images caught by the live API: 52 of 55 (95% CI 85–98%) on a 112-file development bench, mostly Civitai-gallery images (Sep 11 2026)
0.25%
real photos wrongly flagged by the image model: 2 of 800 (95% CI 0.07–0.91%) from secondary training-pool sources; 0.75% of 1,200 on its main sources (Aug 2026)
0.7 s
image verdict, server median over 110 photos, about 1.8 s end to end (Sep 11 2026); up to about 40 s for the first request after idle
2
generator families kept out of training entirely: Gemini 97.7% and FLUX.2-Klein 66.0% caught (Jul 2026)
The bench and false-flag sets share sources with the training data, so they are development numbers; only the two-family result is on generators the model was not trained on. The false-flag rates are the image model alone at its served threshold. When the signal is ambiguous, Tayanch says "uncertain" — never a confident guess.
Images, video, and audio
One endpoint family handles stills, clips, links, and audio — each response includes the verdict, a probability, and a confidence. Audio is in preview: Tayanch shows what the model hears and a research score, but gives no audio verdict until a model passes its published release test.
Link analysis
POST a URL to /analyze/url and the server fetches the media (SSRF-guarded) and runs the same pipeline — social previews resolve automatically.
One calibrated operating point
One calibrated operating point for every key, set for few false accusations; a different operating point per deployment is available by agreement. The reply names the model and configuration that produced it.
Simple integration
REST over HTTPS, JSON responses, and API-key auth via the X-API-Key header.
